Surgery Is Over!!!

Jason's surgery is over. Dr. Joya just called and said everything went good and Jason is doing great. He will be up to talk to me in a little while and Jason will be in recovery for about 2 hours. Just before they came to get Jason he decided he wanted to write the doctor a note on his belly. I had to do this for him. The note said "Please leave room for PIZZA". Dr. Joya said Jason was asleep before they pull off his gown but the whole surgical staff laughed when they found it. Now Jason will not be able to have anything including water by mouth until Thursday when they do the leak test to make sure everything is healing okay. They will keep him on IV until then and give him fluids through it. Keep praying for him to have a speedy recovery. Judy

    So glad to here everything is going well. Remind me to tell you about my operating room story. Yours is much better. You are quite the character, i am glad you both contacted me. Tonight will be the worst, but better and better after that. Enjoy the sun.

    I'm so glad the surgery went so well! Take good care of yourself Jason. No matter what your weight your sense of humor will always be intact.
